The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation named Dr. Orin Levine as Director of Vaccine Delivery within the Global Development Program. Dr. Levine is currently Professor of International Health and Executive Director of the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) at the Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health. He will start work at the foundation on October 1. Chris Elias, president of the foundation’s Global Development Program, said, “Dr. Levine is a recognized expert in the fields of international public health, immunization, child survival and pneumonia, and we are very fortunate to have him join the foundation.
